TiVo Media Platform Hits Major Milestones, Expands Global Reach and Cross-Screen Advertising

TiVo’s independent media platform is gaining momentum, with its smart TV operating system and cross-screen advertising solution showing strong adoption across consumers and the industry. Just over a year after its launch, the TiVo One advertising platform now reaches more than 4 million monthly active users, giving advertisers access to unique, net-new audiences.

Meanwhile, TiVo OS, the company’s operating system for smart TVs, has been adopted by dozens of TV brands and is now available in over 40 countries. The U.K. market has seen particularly strong growth, with TiVo-powered smart TVs stocked at four of the nation’s top five electronics retailers.

A Content-First Approach
TiVo OS continues to prioritize a content-first, personalized experience. The platform now offers more than 385 local and regional channels for European audiences, alongside new features designed to boost engagement and advertiser opportunities:

  • Home page video ad units bring campaigns and promotions directly to viewers, making engagement more interactive.
  • Expanded content discovery allows more apps on the home screen, with a personalized partner picks carousel keeping streaming options fresh.
  • Immersive audio with DTS:X® and DTS Virtual:X® delivers premium, theater-like sound for a richer viewing experience.
