MJA Advertising has appointed Gail Jackson as its new Executive Vice President, signaling a major step in the agency’s growth and strategic evolution. In her new role, Jackson will lead account strategy, client development, and business operations, while spearheading new business initiatives designed to expand MJA’s footprint in an increasingly competitive advertising landscape.
Jackson’s arrival brings more than three decades of media and advertising leadership to MJA. Her track record spans strategic media planning, account management, and brand storytelling, giving her a distinctive edge in connecting creative ambition with measurable outcomes.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Gail to our team,” said Scott Cooper, CEO of MJA Advertising. “Her experience and talent will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to our organization, and we are looking forward to her contributions in the years to come.”
A Proven Leader in Media and Brand Strategy
Jackson began her career at Ketchum Advertising, where she worked on the Acura account, before moving to Starcom. There, she honed her expertise in portfolio management, integrated planning, and high-value negotiations for Miller Brewing Company—skills that would go on to define her leadership style across future roles.
Her career bridges both agency and client-side perspectives, giving her a holistic understanding of how to align storytelling with performance. Over the years, she’s collaborated with an enviable roster of global brands, including ConAgra, Disney, Hasbro, Hulu, NBCUniversal, Sony Entertainment, Verizon Wireless, and Operation Smile. Her category experience cuts across entertainment, gaming, retail, telecom, CPG, hospitality, and nonprofits, making her one of the industry’s more versatile strategists.
Strengthening MJA’s Strategic Core
Before joining MJA, Jackson served as Senior Vice President of Strategy at OMG23 (formerly OMD Entertainment), where she led efforts for Walt Disney Studios Distribution, managing campaigns across Disney+, Hulu, and Home Entertainment. Her leadership played a pivotal role in shaping Disney’s transition to the streaming era, helping guide the entertainment giant’s messaging during a defining period for the industry.
With MJA Advertising looking to deepen its client relationships and expand its capabilities, Jackson’s appointment comes at a critical moment. Her mix of strategic precision, creative vision, and operational discipline is expected to strengthen MJA’s positioning as an agency built for both innovation and results.
