After more than six decades shaping creative culture, Brownstein Group is reintroducing its advertising agency under a new name — Born and Raised. The rebrand signals both a generational evolution and a strategic milestone in the company’s growing “house of brands” approach.
Born and Raised joins sister agencies Red Thread PR, Poster Child, and Nucleus Digital, each representing a specialized focus: public relations, influencer marketing, and performance marketing, respectively. Together, they form an interconnected ecosystem designed to help brands find growth through collaboration, not silos.
A Legacy Reimagined
Founded in 1963 by Berny Brownstein, the agency began as a creative disruptor in a buttoned-up business world. Now led by CEO Marc Brownstein, the company is reinterpreting that same spirit for a new era of digital acceleration and creative innovation.
“Times have changed, and we’re evolving alongside them,” said Marc Brownstein. “Reintroducing our agency as Born and Raised reflects how we see ourselves today — a collective of strategists and creative thinkers driven by independence, collaboration, and bold ideas. It takes a village to raise a great idea, and this name embodies that truth.”
Beyond a Name Change
While the name is new, Born and Raised continues the legacy of delivering full-service advertising — from brand strategy to production — with a renewed focus on transforming authentic brand stories into culturally resonant campaigns.
Chief Creative Officer Gary Greenberg summed it up: “Born and Raised is our roots and our trajectory. We evolve to meet new challenges and expectations, creating work that breaks barriers and makes competitors wish they’d made it.”
Investing in the Future of Creativity
The rebrand comes as Brownstein Group invests in AI-powered creative acceleration, expanded social content production, and improved collaboration technology that bridges in-person and hybrid work models. The company is also enhancing its employee value proposition to maintain a culture where creativity thrives — a key differentiator in an increasingly talent-driven industry.
By embracing this evolution, Born and Raised positions itself not as a break from Brownstein’s past, but as a bold continuation — a creative agency that honors its roots while redefining what it means to build brands in the modern age.
