WideOrbit Names Toni Coonce as CEO, Cementing a Legacy of Leadership

WideOrbit LLC, a leading provider of media revenue workflow solutions, has promoted Toni Coonce to Chief Executive Officer, marking the latest milestone in her nearly two-decade tenure at the company.

Coonce joined WideOrbit in 2006 as an Account Executive and steadily climbed the corporate ladder—holding positions including Director of Sales, Vice President of Sales, EVP of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer, and most recently, President. Her leadership across internal teams and top client accounts has been credited with helping steer the company through periods of growth and innovation.

“Toni has been a driving force behind WideOrbit’s continued success,” said Susie Hedrick, the company’s former CEO, now Group President. “Her ability to inspire teams, nurture client relationships, and lead with integrity makes her the ideal choice to guide WideOrbit into its next chapter.”

Beyond her executive role, Coonce contributes to the broader media ecosystem. She serves on the board of the International Radio and Television Society Foundation (IRTS), supporting future leaders and promoting diversity in media. She also participates in TVB’s NEXT Women program, helping identify and prepare emerging female leaders in local broadcast television.

“I’m truly honored by this opportunity,” Coonce said. “WideOrbit feels like home, and I look forward to working even more closely with our teams and clients. My focus will remain on building strong relationships, aligning strategy to support the industry, and ensuring our customers continue to feel valued every step of the way.”

Coonce’s promotion comes at a time when media companies are navigating complex revenue landscapes, with digital transformation, programmatic advertising, and evolving audience metrics reshaping the market. WideOrbit’s leadership continuity under Coonce may offer stability and forward-looking guidance as the company adapts to these shifts.
