Tubi Media Group, a division of Fox Corporation, has inked a multi-year partnership with Audiochuck, the media company behind the world’s #1 true crime podcast, Crime Junkie, to broaden the reach of its top-rated shows across streaming and video platforms.
The deal gives Tubi exclusive distribution and advertising rights for Audiochuck’s portfolio, which includes Crime Junkie, The Deck, So Supernatural, Dark Downeast, and Park Predators. A key highlight is the launch of a Crime Junkie FAST channel, to be distributed not only across Tubi and FOX One, but also on leading third-party streaming platforms. In addition, an on-demand video podcast collection will further amplify Audiochuck’s presence as a multiplatform media brand.
“Ashley and her team have built a truly unique and premium media company with a strong commitment to meaningful storytelling that carries social impact,” said Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of Tubi Media Group. “We’re thrilled to partner with Audiochuck to leverage our platforms and commercial expertise to help evolve and grow the business.”
Audiochuck: From Podcasts to Multiplatform Media
Founded by Ashley Flowers, Audiochuck has produced over 20 shows across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and other platforms. Crime Junkie alone reaches 10 million listeners monthly nationwide and has been recognized as the #1 podcast in audio reach by Podscribe. The network has reported on nearly 1,000 cases to date, supported by a full-time team of writers, researchers, and editors.
“This first-of-its-kind partnership represents the next evolution of what independent media can achieve,” said Flowers. “By joining forces with Tubi, we’re not just expanding our reach — we’re redefining how true crime stories are experienced across audio and video.”
Driving Monetization and Social Impact
Advertising sales across Audiochuck’s portfolio will be handled by Red Seat Ventures, enabling brands to tap into premium true crime audiences across multiple channels. Christopher Balfe, CEO of Red Seat Ventures, said the partnership is part of the company’s mission to help creators grow and expand across platforms like Tubi.
Community impact has always been at the core of Audiochuck’s mission. Since its 2017 launch, the company has donated over $8.5 million to support local communities and organizations serving crime-impacted individuals. Its nonprofit, Season of Justice, has funded 152 cold-case investigations and helped solve six cold cases to date.
Why It Matters
This partnership represents a significant milestone for creator-led media and multiplatform storytelling. By combining Tubi’s streaming reach with Audiochuck’s compelling content and engaged audience, true crime fans can now experience their favorite shows across linear streaming, on-demand video, and FAST channels, while brands gain premium ad opportunities with measurable impact.
As the podcast and streaming landscape continues to converge, deals like this illustrate the growing importance of cross-platform integration, creator monetization, and socially conscious storytelling in modern media.
