GOOD TRAFFIC Expands OOH Advertising to Australia GOOD TRAFFIC Expands OOH Advertising to Australia

GOOD TRAFFIC, formerly known as mobilads, is expanding its rideshare advertising business into Australia, extending its Out-of-Home (OOH) media operations beyond its established presence in Latin America. The move adds a new market for the company’s vehicle-based advertising format as Australia’s OOH sector continues to expand its digital infrastructure and measurement capabilities.

The company says the Australian launch follows a record year in revenue and builds on more than 600 rideshare advertising campaigns. Its existing LATAM operations include Mexico and Brazil.

Rideshare Advertising Enters a Growing OOH Market

Australia provides a substantial addressable market for outdoor advertising. The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) reports that OOH reaches 97% of Australians each week, equivalent to 22 million people aged 14 and over.

OMA reported $385 million in OOH net media revenue for the second quarter of 2026, representing 5.58% year-over-year growth. Digital Out-of-Home accounted for 77.1% of quarterly revenue, demonstrating the increasingly digital composition of the Australian OOH market.

The company’s announcement cites $744.1 million in first-half 2026 Australian OOH net media revenue and 6.51% year-over-year growth. The latest OMA reporting available also confirms continued growth in the sector, although the organization’s published Q2 figures provide the more directly verifiable quarterly measure.

Vehicle-Based Media Adds Mobility to DOOH

GOOD TRAFFIC’s model places advertising on rideshare vehicles, giving brands access to moving inventory across urban environments. The company says recent campaigns have incorporated digital tops, 3D tops and other experiential formats.

The model sits within the broader evolution of OOH from static placements toward more flexible, digital and data-informed media. Australia’s MOVE measurement system became the industry’s standard for campaign planning, buying and reporting in March 2026, providing a common measurement framework across OOH formats.

That measurement infrastructure is relevant to new entrants because advertisers and agencies increasingly need OOH inventory to be evaluated alongside other media channels using standardized audience and exposure data.

Impact on Advertisers and Agencies

For advertisers, rideshare inventory offers a mobile physical-media format that can complement fixed billboards, transit placements and other OOH environments. The flexibility of vehicle-based advertising can also support campaigns that require geographic movement or localized exposure.

For agencies, the expansion adds another type of inventory to the Australian OOH planning landscape. GOOD TRAFFIC describes its campaigns as measurable and agile, although the announcement does not provide independent campaign-performance data that would allow those claims to be compared directly with other Australian OOH formats.

The company will also enter a market where other operators are developing advertising formats around taxis and rideshare vehicles. OMA lists Adonix, for example, as a member operating digital billboards on taxis and rideshare vehicles using geofencing and contextual triggers.

Market Landscape

Australia’s OOH market has increasingly shifted toward digital inventory. OMA reported full-year 2025 net media revenue of $1.4495 billion, up 11.43% from its adjusted 2024 figure, with DOOH representing 76.6% of total revenue.

This creates a market environment in which digital screens, audience measurement and location-based advertising technologies are becoming more integrated into OOH planning. MOVE is designed to track when, where and how audiences move across formats including public transport, shopping centres and airports.

Strategic Outlook

GOOD TRAFFIC’s Australian expansion reflects the broader diversification of DOOH inventory beyond conventional roadside and transit screens. Rideshare vehicles can function as mobile media assets, while digital and experiential formats create additional opportunities for advertisers seeking physical-world visibility.

The strategic challenge will be translating the format’s creative flexibility into measurable advertising outcomes within Australia’s increasingly standardized OOH ecosystem. As MOVE establishes a common planning and reporting framework, the ability of emerging formats to provide credible audience and campaign data will become increasingly important for agencies and advertisers.

For GOOD TRAFFIC, the Australian launch therefore represents not only geographic expansion but an opportunity to establish its rideshare advertising model within a mature and increasingly measurement-led OOH market.
