Sabio Turns Creator Partnerships Into a New CTV Advertising Format

Sabio Launches New CTV Creator Ad Format Sabio Launches New CTV Creator Ad Format

Sabio Holdings has launched Creator Ad Spot, a new CTV advertising format designed to bring creator-led creative into the traditional 15- and 30-second television commercial. The format combines creator-produced commercials with a companion social post, allowing advertisers to connect streaming TV campaigns with creator distribution while using Sabio’s audience-targeting and measurement infrastructure.

The boundaries between television advertising and creator marketing are getting harder to define. Sabio Holdings is leaning into that convergence with Creator Ad Spot, a new offering within its Creator TV+ suite that lets brands work directly with creators to develop, produce and appear in streaming commercials.

The proposition is relatively straightforward: instead of treating creators only as social influencers, Sabio wants them involved in the actual production of CTV advertising. Each 15- or 30-second commercial is accompanied by a social post from the creator, giving advertisers a single campaign structure spanning connected TV and social media.

For advertisers, the more important piece may be what happens behind the creative. Sabio says Creator Ad Spot campaigns are paired with its App Science behavioral intelligence engine, which analyzes viewing and behavioral patterns across more than 80 million U.S. households for audience targeting and campaign measurement.

That combination puts the product squarely in the evolving CTV advertising market, where advertisers increasingly expect television-like reach alongside the audience data, targeting and measurement associated with digital media.

Creator content moves closer to the CTV ad stack

Creator advertising is no longer a niche extension of social media. IAB reported that U.S. creator advertising reached $37 billion in 2025, while the broader digital advertising market climbed to $294.6 billion. Programmatic advertising alone generated $162.4 billion during the year.

At the same time, video is becoming a larger part of that spending. IAB projects U.S. digital video advertising will surpass $80 billion in 2026, with digital video accounting for more than 60% of total TV and video advertising spending for the first time.

Sabio’s launch fits into that transition. Rather than simply placing influencer content on a streaming service, Creator Ad Spot attempts to turn the creator relationship into part of the advertising product itself.

That distinction matters for media buyers. A creator can contribute to scripting, production and performance, while the advertising platform handles audience selection and measurement. It effectively brings elements of influencer marketing into a more conventional CTV buying workflow.

Sabio says Creator TV currently reaches 88 million households through services including VIZIO WatchFree+, TCLtv+, Xumo Play, Sling Freestream, Amazon Fire TV Channels, Plex and Anoki’s LiveTVx.

A different proposition from conventional CTV buying

The offering also highlights how CTV advertising is becoming less dependent on a single creative or distribution channel.

Large advertising ecosystems such as Google, Amazon Ads and major streaming platforms already provide increasingly sophisticated tools for buying and measuring video inventory. Meanwhile, creator platforms and agencies are developing their own systems for connecting influencers with brand campaigns.

Sabio is taking a more integrated route: creator production, CTV inventory, behavioral targeting and social amplification are packaged together.

That could appeal to brands that want the credibility and personality associated with creators without abandoning the audience controls expected from digital advertising. It also gives creators another route into premium brand budgets beyond conventional sponsored social posts.

The challenge will be proving that the combined model produces better outcomes rather than simply adding another layer to campaign execution. Advertisers will still need clear measurement around incremental reach, frequency, conversions and the relative contribution of CTV versus the accompanying social activity.

What it means for advertisers and creators

Creator Ad Spot is one of three products in Sabio’s Creator TV+ portfolio. The company also offers brand integrations and sponsorships within creator programming, alongside broader distribution of creator-led inventory across FAST and AVOD channels.

Sabio says Creator TV surpassed one million unique viewers during its first year and that viewership increased 163% between the first and fourth quarters of 2025. Those figures are company-reported, but they indicate the company is attempting to build a larger creator-focused CTV supply layer rather than treating the launch as a standalone ad format.

For enterprise advertisers, the appeal will ultimately depend on execution. Brands will need creators who can translate their personalities into television-quality creative, while agencies will want standardized targeting, reporting and buying processes.

That requirement mirrors the wider CTV market. IAB’s 2026 research found that targeting has overtaken content quality as the leading criterion for TV and video investment, reflecting advertisers’ growing demand for addressable audiences and measurable outcomes.

Sabio’s bet is that creators can supply the authenticity while advertising technology supplies the precision. If that model scales, the traditional TV commercial may increasingly become less about a fixed piece of brand creative and more about a distributed media experience built around the person delivering it.

Market Landscape

CTV is moving toward a hybrid advertising model in which television-style storytelling, programmatic targeting, creator content and performance measurement increasingly operate within the same media ecosystem. IAB’s latest research projects CTV advertising growth of 13.8% in 2026, while social video is projected to grow 13%.

That creates an opening for companies that can connect creator supply with measurable CTV inventory. Sabio’s approach competes indirectly with the broader capabilities of streaming platforms, DSPs, creator marketplaces and CTV advertising specialists rather than with a single identical product.

For brands, the strategic question is becoming less about choosing between creators and television and more about how the two can be planned, targeted and measured as parts of the same campaign.
