Broadcast monitoring used to revolve around a relatively straightforward question: Is the signal working?

Another potentially important development is Actus Digital’s planned native integration with LiveU LRT.
LiveU’s Reliable Transport technology is designed for resilient transmission of live video, including workflows that rely on bonded connectivity. Actus plans to support LRT feeds directly within Actus X rather than requiring customers to convert them to another protocol first.
The proposed architecture could remove gateway components between content acquisition and monitoring.
That has implications beyond convenience. Every additional conversion or gateway in a live workflow can introduce another point where latency, reliability or video quality needs to be managed.
A more direct path from LiveU acquisition infrastructure into Actus monitoring could therefore simplify live contribution workflows while retaining the monitoring and AI capabilities of Actus X.
