Teads has introduced a new generation of Teads Ad Manager (TAM), expanding its advertising platform with unified connected TV (CTV) and digital campaign activation, full-funnel measurement and AI-assisted media workflows. The update targets advertisers and agencies seeking to manage cross-screen campaigns through a consolidated platform rather than relying on fragmented planning, buying and reporting systems.
The platform evolution reflects a growing challenge in digital advertising: consumer attention is distributed across streaming television, websites and other digital environments, while media operations and measurement often remain separated by channel.
Teads cited daily media consumption of 13 hours and 26 minutes and research indicating that 53% of marketers struggle to unify measurement across channels. The company positions the latest TAM capabilities as a way to connect media investment, campaign performance and audience insights across CTV and digital inventory.
According to Teads Chief Product Officer Remi Cackel, the objective is to reduce the separation between brand-building and performance advertising by connecting both activities within a single operating environment.
Four Capabilities Expand Cross-Screen Advertising
The updated Teads Ad Manager introduces four major capabilities designed to improve campaign execution and measurement.
1. Omnichannel Strategies and Full-Funnel Measurement
Advertisers can activate campaigns against multiple key performance indicators (KPIs) across CTV and digital environments within a unified workflow. The measurement capability is designed to connect upper-funnel brand exposure with lower-funnel outcomes, including website visits generated by branding campaigns.
This approach could help agencies evaluate how awareness-oriented advertising contributes to subsequent consumer actions rather than assessing each channel independently.
2. Unified Performance Across CTV and Digital
Teads is extending performance campaigns across CTV and digital placements, including CTV InStream, HomeScreen, inRead and Feed formats.
The platform combines access to premium media inventory with quality controls and measurement integrations. Advertisers can also use Conversion API (CAPI) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integrations to connect campaign activity with conversion measurement.
For performance marketers, extending campaigns across television and digital environments could provide additional inventory options while keeping optimization and reporting within a more connected workflow.
3. Agentic AI for Campaign Management
The platform introduces task-specific AI copilots for campaign planning, setup, management and reporting.
Strategy Builder is designed to turn campaign briefs into media strategies, while Control Hub monitors campaign delivery and identifies pacing or troubleshooting risks.
Teads claims Control Hub can reduce troubleshooting time from 15 minutes to under 60 seconds. This is a company-reported capability rather than an independently verified performance benchmark.
The introduction of AI-assisted operational workflows could reduce repetitive campaign management tasks for agencies handling multiple advertisers and media investments.
4. Open MCP Connectivity
Another significant development is the integration of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows Teads to connect audience insights, reach forecasting and inventory discovery with external AI systems.
Supported integrations include Claude, Gemini Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot.
The approach allows agency teams to access Teads data and capabilities through their preferred AI environments rather than restricting campaign intelligence to the advertising platform’s own interface.
Market Landscape: Advertising Moves Toward Unified Media Operations
The launch comes as advertisers increasingly seek ways to coordinate CTV and digital media investments. Streaming growth has expanded the importance of television within digital advertising strategies, but fragmented buying platforms, inconsistent reporting and disconnected measurement frameworks continue to complicate cross-channel campaign management.
Teads is positioning TAM around the convergence of premium media supply, campaign activation, performance optimization and measurement. Its MCP integrations also reflect a broader industry movement toward connecting advertising platforms with external AI assistants and enterprise workflows.
For agencies, this could simplify access to inventory intelligence and campaign planning data. For advertisers, connecting CTV exposure with digital engagement and conversion signals could improve visibility into how different media investments contribute to campaign objectives.
The competitive challenge will be demonstrating that unified workflows deliver consistent measurement and meaningful performance improvements across different inventory environments.
Strategic Outlook
Teads’ platform strategy extends beyond consolidating media buying tools. By combining omnichannel activation, AI copilots and open MCP connectivity, the company is seeking to make advertising operations more accessible to both human teams and AI-assisted workflows.
The expansion of AI agents into campaign execution also raises questions about data access, decision transparency and operational oversight. Agencies will need confidence that automated recommendations remain aligned with client objectives and that campaign changes can be monitored effectively.
Availability will be phased. Unified Performance capabilities are generally available to global enterprise clients, while Full-Funnel Measurement, Strategy Builder, Control Hub and MCP integrations remain in closed beta for TAMbassadors. Teads plans broader global access through the end of 2026.
The platform’s adoption will ultimately depend on how effectively it connects cross-screen media execution with reliable measurement, quality inventory and demonstrable advertiser outcomes.
