Catch-Up Advances Agentic AI Video Platform Catch-Up Advances Agentic AI Video Platform

Change Agents Corporation has completed the second development phase of Catch-Up, an agentic AI video studio aimed at automating the creation and distribution of short-form content for podcasters, social media influencers and other digital creators.

The Nasdaq-listed company said the Phase 2 development was carried out with Caylent, an Amazon Web Services Premier Tier Services Partner, with funding support from an AWS grant. Beta testing is expected to begin in September 2026, giving the company an opportunity to assess the platform before a broader commercial rollout.

The development is relevant to the advertising technology market because automated content production is increasingly becoming part of the workflow surrounding social media advertising, creator marketing and digital media distribution. Catch-Up is positioned less as a conventional video-editing application and more as an autonomous production layer that can generate personalized short-form videos for distribution across multiple social platforms.

Technology and Functionality

According to Change Agents, Phase 2 moves Catch-Up from a manually configured application toward an agentic AI architecture. The intended workflow is to reduce the technical involvement required from creators when producing multiple versions of short-form video.

For advertisers and agencies, the underlying proposition could eventually extend beyond creator productivity. Automated generation of platform-specific creative variants can potentially support faster creative testing, localization and content adaptation. Publishers and creator businesses could similarly use such systems to turn longer-form material, including podcasts, into additional video inventory.

However, those commercial applications remain prospective. The company has not yet disclosed detailed information about Catch-Up’s production capabilities, supported social platforms, pricing, advertising integrations or performance during live campaigns. September’s beta testing will therefore be an important validation point.

Market Landscape

The launch comes as generative and agentic AI increasingly intersect with creative production and digital advertising. The competitive landscape includes AI-powered video creation, automated creative optimization and creator-content platforms, making differentiation dependent not simply on generation quality but on workflow automation, distribution and measurable business outcomes.

Catch-Up’s agentic positioning is notable because it emphasizes autonomous execution rather than AI-assisted editing alone. If the platform can reliably determine what content to produce, personalize outputs and coordinate distribution, it could address a broader portion of the creator-media workflow.

For the programmatic ecosystem, the longer-term implication is potentially greater availability of machine-generated creative assets. More creative variants can create opportunities for testing and personalization, but they also increase the importance of brand safety, rights management, content quality and platform compliance.

Strategic Outlook

The September beta will provide the first meaningful indication of whether Catch-Up can move from an AI product concept toward a scalable commercial advertising and creator-economy tool. The company’s stated SaaS strategy also makes recurring usage and customer retention important measures alongside technical performance.

The broader strategic question is whether agentic AI can automate enough of the production-to-distribution process to deliver measurable efficiency for creators, publishers, brands and agencies without creating new operational or governance problems.
