Advertising measurement is moving beyond separate brand and performance reports as Cint expands its Lucid Measurement platform with self-service outcomes measurement. The new capability lets advertising partners combine brand-lift and sales-lift data within a single study, while Magnite becomes the first platform to offer access to the capability for campaigns including Magnite ClearLine and streaming inventory.
Cint has launched self-service outcomes measurement within Lucid Measurement Study Creator, giving media owners, ad tech platforms and agencies a way to build studies that connect changes in consumer perception with downstream purchasing behavior.
The development addresses a persistent measurement problem in advertising: brand lift and sales lift have traditionally been evaluated through different datasets, providers and reporting systems. Cint’s Outcomes capability puts the two measurement layers together, allowing advertisers to examine attitudinal and behavioral results within one campaign view.
Cint’s existing Outcomes infrastructure combines Brand Lift, based on survey responses, with Sales Lift, based on transaction data. Its documentation says the integrated view can show the two datasets side by side and identify media tactics that perform across either or both measurement dimensions.
The new self-service functionality extends that capability into Study Creator. Cint describes Study Creator as a workflow that lets users configure and launch brand-lift studies without going through a Cint-managed setup process. The company says the workflow can reduce study-launch time from days to minutes.
Magnite is the first advertising platform to provide access to the new offering. Clients running Magnite ClearLine or streaming campaigns can combine Cint’s sales-lift measurement with Lucid’s brand-lift measurement within a single study.
That integration is particularly relevant to CTV and streaming advertising, where advertisers increasingly need to connect exposure across premium video environments with measurable business outcomes. Cint’s existing Lucid Measurement product supports cross-platform campaign measurement, including digital, CTV, social and linear TV.
Cint is also expanding the measurement framework beyond the combined dashboard. Linear TV is entering beta as a measurable channel for outcomes studies, while new sales-lift benchmarks are designed to give advertisers context for metrics such as conversion-rate lift, average-order-value lift and purchase-frequency lift. Users can also customize the post-campaign purchase attribution window according to the buying cycle being measured.
The underlying data sets are not identical. Cint says its Sales Lift measurement uses deterministic transaction data from more than 150 million U.S. credit-card holders, while Brand Lift relies on survey respondents. That distinction matters because a combined measurement system still requires advertisers to understand how the underlying populations and methodologies differ.
The launch follows Cint’s June introduction of in-flight outcomes measurement, which brought brand and sales lift into a single reporting experience while campaigns were running. The company initially made that capability available for open beta testing in the United States.
For agencies and media owners, the broader implication is a shift toward measurement systems that connect upper-funnel and lower-funnel signals without requiring separate reporting workflows. For advertisers, however, combined reporting does not eliminate the need to examine methodology, attribution windows, sample populations and statistical validity when interpreting campaign results.
The move also places measurement closer to the media-buying workflow itself. As advertising becomes increasingly fragmented across CTV, digital, social and linear channels, platforms that can connect media exposure with both perception and purchase behavior are becoming part of the infrastructure advertisers use to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Market Landscape
Advertising measurement is increasingly moving toward cross-channel and full-funnel frameworks. Cint’s Lucid Measurement already provides in-flight brand-lift measurement across multiple media environments, while its newer Outcomes capability adds transaction-based sales signals to the same reporting environment.
The shift reflects advertiser demand for measurement that goes beyond impressions, reach and engagement. Combining survey-based perception metrics with transaction data can provide a broader view of campaign impact, although the two datasets represent different populations and measurement methodologies.
Strategic Outlook
The Cint launch points toward closer integration between media activation and advertising measurement. Self-service workflows can reduce operational dependencies, while combined brand and sales signals give agencies, media owners and advertisers a common framework for evaluating campaigns.
The challenge will be maintaining methodological transparency as measurement expands across channels. Attribution windows, control groups, transaction coverage and audience differences remain important considerations when advertisers interpret outcomes data.
