Healthcare advertising has long relied on claims data to identify physicians who have prescribed particular therapies, but that approach can leave media teams targeting doctors weeks after the underlying clinical decision. Doceree is attempting to shorten that gap with its new Intent Powered HCP Suite, extending real-time clinical-intent signals into CTV, social and programmatic advertising through a unified orchestration layer.

Doceree has launched its Intent Powered HCP Suite, adding connected TV, social and programmatic advertising to its healthcare marketing platform and allowing pharmaceutical brands to activate media using what the company calls real-time Clinical Intent Signals.

The announcement was made at Fierce Pharma Week 2026 and expands Doceree’s Daily Command operating system for pharma commercialization.

The central AdTech proposition is a shift from targeting physicians based primarily on what they did in the past to identifying signals that indicate what they may be considering now.

Claims data remains valuable because it provides a broad view of prescribing activity. But claims-derived audiences are inherently delayed by the processes required to adjudicate, aggregate and model prescription information. For advertisers trying to influence decisions around a therapy, that delay can create a disconnect between the clinical moment and the advertising opportunity.

Doceree’s Clinical Intent Signals are designed to address that gap. The company says its signals can include activity within electronic health record workflows, engagement with clinical content across its network of more than 2,000 medical publishers and point-of-care interactions captured through its Triggers technology.

The signals are then resolved to verified National Provider Identifiers through ESPYIAN, Doceree’s healthcare identity graph. Doceree says the graph covers more than six million healthcare professionals and uses deterministic identity resolution rather than probabilistic lookalike audiences.

That identity layer is important because healthcare advertising requires considerably more precision than simply identifying an audience by demographic or broad professional characteristics.

The new suite applies those signals across three major advertising environments.

CTV allows pharmaceutical advertisers to reach verified healthcare professionals on connected television, with creative sequencing based on active clinical intent rather than static specialty or audience lists.

Social advertising extends the model to LinkedIn, where Doceree says HCP-verified placements can be adjusted based on changing intent and frequency requirements.

Programmatic advertising takes the signals into the bidding process, allowing media spend to respond to clinical-intent indicators across Doceree’s endemic publisher network and open-exchange inventory.

The common infrastructure is Daily Command. Rather than operating separate strategies for point-of-care, CTV, social and programmatic media, advertisers can use the same clinical signal to coordinate activity across channels.

That creates a more interesting proposition than conventional audience targeting. A physician’s interaction with clinical content could potentially influence subsequent media exposure across multiple environments, allowing advertisers to sequence messaging around the same underlying event.

Doceree is also connecting the system to its existing Care Sequence platform, email and text capabilities, RepTwin and digital out-of-home offering. The company’s broader objective is to turn clinical signals into triggers for coordinated media activity rather than isolated audience segments.

For AdTech, the development reflects a wider movement toward real-time decisioning. Programmatic advertising has long used signals to determine which impressions are worth bidding on, but healthcare introduces additional complexity around identity, privacy, clinical context and regulatory requirements.

The company’s closed-loop attribution framework is therefore another important component. Doceree says advertisers can measure signal-to-exposure latency alongside conventional reach and conversion metrics.

The competitive question will be whether real-time intent signals produce materially better outcomes than established healthcare audience models while maintaining sufficient transparency and privacy controls. Pharmaceutical marketers also need confidence that identity resolution, data provenance and activation workflows meet the requirements of regulated advertising.

The larger significance is that healthcare media is moving closer to the same real-time decisioning model already common in other areas of digital advertising. Instead of building an audience once and activating it repeatedly, advertisers can potentially respond as relevant signals emerge.

If that model scales, the competitive advantage may shift from simply owning large healthcare datasets to determining which signals are predictive, how quickly they can be activated and how reliably their impact can be measured.

Healthcare advertising has traditionally depended heavily on prescription and claims data for audience construction, measurement and attribution. Those datasets provide valuable longitudinal information but are not designed to function as instantaneous advertising signals.
