Impressions.fm Expands Podcast Ad Network With Two Shows

Impressions.fm Expands Podcast Ad Network Impressions.fm Expands Podcast Ad Network

Impressions.fm is expanding its podcast advertising inventory with the addition of Fun For All Ages and the full archive of Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast (GGACP), bringing both current and evergreen programming into its broader digital media network.

The move gives advertisers access to a larger library of personality-driven audio content while extending the network’s inventory across podcasting and other digital video environments. Fun For All Ages, hosted by Emmy-winning writer Frank Santopadre, begins its second season September 8, while the GGACP archive includes more than 600 episodes recorded during the show’s run.

For Impressions.fm, the additions fit into a broader strategy of aggregating recognizable creators and established programming under an advertising network that can package inventory across multiple channels. The company says its network now represents more than 300 podcasters and video creators spanning comedy, entertainment, sports, finance and news.

The advertising significance is less about the individual shows than the way their audiences and content libraries can become part of a larger media-buying proposition. Evergreen podcast episodes can provide additional inventory beyond newly released episodes, potentially giving advertisers more opportunities to reach established audiences while allowing the network to package different types of programming.

Impressions.fm said its advertising offering includes host-read campaigns, dynamically inserted ads and custom integrations. The company also supports campaigns spanning podcasts, YouTube, OTT, CTV and social platforms, with forecasting and unified reporting intended to connect activity across those environments.

That cross-channel structure reflects a broader shift in digital advertising toward buying audiences across multiple forms of creator and premium media rather than treating each content format as a separate advertising silo. For agencies and brands, the ability to combine podcast inventory with video and connected-TV placements can simplify campaign planning, although the value ultimately depends on audience quality, targeting capabilities, measurement consistency and inventory availability.

The addition of GGACP also highlights another increasingly relevant component of digital media monetization: the long-term commercial value of content libraries. Older episodes can continue attracting listeners and create advertising opportunities after their original publication cycle, provided the content remains relevant and commercially suitable.

Santopadre will continue the GGACP-style interview format through Fun For All Ages, with the second season opening with a two-part conversation featuring Judd Apatow. The show’s continuation alongside the GGACP archive gives Impressions.fm both new programming and an established back catalog to incorporate into its advertising ecosystem.

For advertisers, the development could make Impressions.fm more relevant as a consolidated source of podcast and creator inventory. For publishers and creators, the model illustrates how network representation can connect specialized audiences with broader advertising demand while extending monetization beyond individual shows or platforms.

Market Landscape

Podcast advertising has increasingly become part of broader digital media strategies as advertisers look for environments built around engaged audiences and recognizable creators. The announcement reflects that convergence by combining podcast inventory with YouTube, OTT, CTV and social advertising rather than positioning podcasting as an isolated channel.

The use of both dynamically inserted and host-read advertising also reflects two distinct approaches to podcast monetization: scalable ad delivery and creator-led integrations. For buyers, consistent measurement across those formats remains important when campaigns span multiple media environments.

Strategic Outlook

The expansion strengthens Impressions.fm’s ability to package established podcast audiences alongside newer programming. The GGACP archive may also provide a longer-tail inventory source, while Fun For All Ages adds an active series to the portfolio.

The larger strategic question is whether cross-platform creator networks can provide advertisers with sufficient scale, targeting and measurement without losing the audience connection that makes personality-led media attractive. Campaign forecasting and unified reporting could become increasingly important as buyers evaluate podcast, video and CTV inventory together.
