TiVo Ads is expanding its connected TV advertising platform as advertisers place greater emphasis on measurable reach, audience intelligence and inventory scale. The company says its TiVo One advertising platform reached 6.3 million monthly active users globally by June 2026, up 70% year over year, while advertising and related revenue increased 54% in the second quarter. Xperi separately confirmed the figures in its Q2 results.
The expansion includes more advertising inventory, enhanced audience data and additional distribution partnerships. TiVo Ads is also using automatic content recognition (ACR) and clickstream data to provide advertisers with additional signals for planning, segmentation, attribution and measurement.
Market Landscape
CTV remains one of the faster-growing areas of digital advertising. The IAB’s September 2026 outlook projects U.S. CTV advertising spending to grow 15.6% year over year, up from its earlier 13.8% forecast.
That growth is accompanied by increasing pressure on CTV platforms to provide more than audience access. Buyers are seeking targeting capabilities, transparent measurement and business outcomes as streaming inventory becomes more fragmented.
IAB’s 2026 Digital Video Ad Spend & Strategy research identifies targeting as an increasingly important criterion for TV and video investment, reflecting advertiser concerns around signal quality and audience identification.
TiVo Ads is addressing that requirement through expanded audience intelligence. Its recent U.S. TV Viewership Data offering combines deterministic set-top-box data with ACR information in a session-level feed covering linear TV, AVOD and SVOD consumption.
CTV Inventory and Audience Intelligence
TiVo Ads says annual ad impressions increased 310%, while home-screen advertising engagement grew 90%. Monthly viewership of FAST content on TiVo Channels increased 320%, according to company-reported figures.
The platform’s home-page advertising model gives brands access to consumers during content discovery, rather than limiting exposure to conventional in-stream placements. TiVo Ads cited a campaign for a global streaming platform that increased monthly app launches by 70% compared with the previous month.
The company has also expanded distribution through reseller partnerships across North America and Europe. For advertisers and agencies, broader distribution can increase access to CTV inventory, while audience data can support segmentation and measurement decisions across campaigns.
Strategic Outlook
TiVo Ads’ strategy reflects the convergence of CTV inventory, first-party viewing signals and advertising measurement. For media buyers, the combination could support more informed decisions about which audiences to target and how campaigns should be evaluated.
The company’s reported Grocery Outlet campaign illustrates the direction. TiVo Ads says the 12-day CTV and mobile campaign reached 8.6 million unique shoppers. Its CTV video completion rate peaked at 98.7%, while an interactive wipe-to-reveal unit generated a 6.6% wipe-through rate. An AI Companion attached to the video reportedly generated 35% engagement and a threefold increase in click-through rate. These figures are company-reported and should not be treated as independent benchmarks.
TiVo’s broader ecosystem also extends into connected vehicles through AutoStage, creating potential opportunities for advertisers and media partners to address audiences across home and automotive environments.
