FREDERICK, Md., July 22, 2026 – Adwave, the self-serve, AI-powered connected TV (CTV) advertising platform, today introduced Waverunner, an always-on performance advertising platform for small and medium-sized businesses that combines creative production, ad placement, and measurement across streaming, social, video, and display in a single self-serve tool.
Waverunner extends Adwave’s CTV advertising technology beyond the television screen. Starting from a business’s website URL, the platform reads the site, proposes ideal-customer personas, and generates a “Launch pack” of image ads, social video, and a broadcast-ready TV spot. Campaigns then run from one daily budget across mobile, web, streaming TV, Google (including YouTube), Meta, and Reddit, with TikTok and Pinterest coming soon.
The U.S. has 36.2 million small businesses, and the ones that advertise spend an average of $78,000 a year. But most lack the time and expertise to manage campaigns across separate platforms and dashboards, so the advertising either doesn’t happen, or it goes to an agency on retainer. Waverunner makes the agency question moot: it does the work an agency would, creative production, ad placement, and measurement, without a retainer eating into media spend.
“Everything on the market solves a piece of this problem, and every piece still leaves the business doing the assembly,” said David Naffis, Co-Founder & CEO of Adwave. “Waverunner takes the whole job. For a lot of small businesses, that’s the job they’d otherwise hire an agency for, except the owner’s budget buys media, not management fees. The owner sets a daily budget and gets on with growing the business, which is what they wanted from advertising in the first place.”
With Waverunner, the business owner pastes their website URL, chooses what to spend each day, and the service handles the rest: generating the creative, selecting channels, buying media through direct trade desk execution, and optimizing campaigns every hour. That trade desk access includes streaming TV inventory, a channel largely out of reach for self-serve small advertisers.
Measurement follows the same principle. Rather than letting each ad platform grade its own homework, Waverunner measures performance on the advertiser’s own site, giving owners a first-party view of what their spend produced. It also connects channels into one audience journey, building an audience on mobile and web, and following up with those prospects across streaming TV, Google, and Meta.
Businesses set a daily budget starting from $10 and pay one charge per active day, covering creative, media, and measurement. There are no retainers, subscriptions, contracts, or minimum terms. Media that doesn’t deliver is credited back automatically, and new accounts receive $50 in creation credits to preview ads before spending.
