Canva Integration Brings Faster Creative Testing to CTV Ads

Canva and streaming TV advertising platform Vibe have launched an integration designed to shorten the workflow between video creation and connected TV campaign activation. The Canva app for Vibe allows advertisers to create video ads in Canva, publish them directly to a Vibe creative library and attach them to streaming TV campaigns without downloading and re-uploading files.

The integration targets one of the operational challenges of performance-oriented CTV advertising: producing enough creative variations to support ongoing testing. Instead of treating TV creative as a separate production process, the workflow connects an existing design environment with campaign activation and measurement infrastructure.

Market Landscape

CTV has increasingly adopted performance-marketing practices traditionally associated with digital and social advertising, including audience targeting, measurement and creative experimentation. Creative production, however, can remain a bottleneck when each new television variation requires separate production and trafficking processes.

Vibe’s CTV Creative Performance Report, based on more than 17,000 creatives from 3,400 brands, highlights the use of social-style creative in streaming TV, including videos featuring people speaking directly to camera, prominent offers and QR codes.

The Canva integration addresses this production gap by allowing marketers to publish new video variations directly from the Canva interface. Vibe says its streaming TV specifications—including MP4 format, 16:9 aspect ratio, five-to-90-second duration and a minimum 1280×720 resolution—can be checked within the Canva editor.

For agencies and multi-brand organizations, an advertiser-account selector is intended to route creative to the appropriate account, while published assets undergo Vibe’s existing moderation and inventory controls.

Strategic Outlook

The integration could make CTV more accessible to advertisers already accustomed to rapid creative iteration on social platforms. Instead of producing a limited number of television spots and waiting for campaign results, performance teams can potentially introduce additional creative variations within the same workflow.

That has implications for agencies in particular. Designers, social teams and agency partners can publish finished assets directly into authorized Vibe accounts, reducing manual file transfers between creative and media teams.

For advertisers, the more significant shift is the connection between creative production and media testing. When new assets can move from creation into live campaign workflows more quickly, CTV begins to resemble other performance channels where creative iteration is closely connected to audience, device and daypart optimization.

The integration also extends Vibe’s existing ecosystem around attribution, CRM and audience tools. This positions creative publishing as another component of a broader performance CTV workflow rather than a standalone production task.

The development does not eliminate the need for creative strategy or campaign measurement. Instead, its primary significance is operational: reducing friction between the people producing advertising assets and the systems responsible for distributing and evaluating them.
