Connected TV advertising is beginning to move beyond the dashboard. Vibe, a streaming TV advertising platform aimed at performance marketers, has expanded access to its campaign infrastructure through a public API, Model Context Protocol connection, command-line tool and reporting agent.
The company says the changes are designed to let advertisers manage CTV campaigns through their existing software workflows, including scripts, internal applications and AI assistants, rather than requiring every campaign operation to happen inside a dedicated advertising interface.
Vibe’s latest product expansion reflects a broader change in how performance marketing teams are using software. Instead of treating advertising platforms as standalone destinations, marketers increasingly connect campaign systems to internal data, automation tools and AI assistants.
The company’s Vibe Developer Platform provides a public API that allows technology partners and in-house development teams to integrate CTV campaign management into their own applications. Vibe’s MCP connection extends that model to AI interfaces, allowing advertisers to query campaign performance, explore streaming inventory, review audiences and launch campaigns through tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini Enterprise using their Vibe accounts.
A command-line interface gives technical teams another route for scripting campaign operations, while Vibe Agent provides natural-language reporting inside the platform.
The underlying proposition is straightforward: campaign management becomes a programmable service rather than something confined to a graphical user interface.
Vibe tested that approach internally. According to the company, its growth team used the API to create 250 account-based CTV campaigns, each with its own audience and creative. The company says the work required less than 15 minutes of hands-on effort, compared with an estimated 40 to 125 hours if configured manually. It also reported that the system matched creative to the correct account on 98% of campaigns on the first pass.
Those figures are Vibe’s own internal results rather than an independent benchmark, but they illustrate the type of workflow the company is targeting: high-volume, customized campaign creation driven by automation.
The expansion also extends beyond campaign execution into the data and measurement layer. Vibe added integrations with Stella for causal CTV measurement; Clay and Omnisend for enriched account and email-based audiences; L2 for voter and consumer audiences; Freshpaint for HIPAA-compliant conversion tracking in healthcare; and Segwise for converting existing brand footage into CTV advertising creative.
That integration strategy matters because performance marketers rarely keep audience, CRM, analytics and creative data inside a single system. Connecting those sources to CTV activation can reduce the operational work required to move first-party information into television campaigns.
The addition of SOC 2 Type 2 certification also addresses an important enterprise consideration. Advertisers increasingly want to use first-party customer information across media platforms, making security controls and compliance documentation part of the technology evaluation process.
Vibe’s approach puts it into an increasingly competitive CTV technology market that includes established programmatic platforms, streaming publishers and broader advertising ecosystems from companies such as Google, Amazon and Microsoft. Its differentiation is less about introducing another CTV buying interface and more about making CTV infrastructure accessible through APIs and AI-driven workflows.
For enterprise teams, that could make CTV easier to incorporate into automated marketing operations. A campaign could theoretically begin with an instruction in an AI assistant, draw audience information from an existing system, activate through Vibe and return performance data to the same workflow.
The challenge will be maintaining governance as those workflows become more autonomous. Access permissions, audience eligibility, creative approvals, budget controls and measurement standards all need to remain explicit when software can execute advertising actions.
Vibe’s expansion therefore points toward a broader evolution in media buying: CTV platforms may increasingly function as infrastructure that other applications and AI agents can operate, rather than destinations marketers must continually navigate themselves.
Market Landscape
CTV advertising has traditionally relied heavily on platform interfaces, managed-service workflows and fragmented technology integrations. APIs and AI agent connections introduce a different model in which media buying becomes increasingly programmable.
The shift is particularly relevant to performance marketing teams running large numbers of customized campaigns. API access can support automation, while MCP-style connections allow AI systems to interact with advertising infrastructure through structured tools and account permissions.
At the same time, advertisers need stronger controls around first-party data, privacy and security. Vibe’s SOC 2 Type 2 audit and integrations covering healthcare conversion tracking illustrate how enterprise requirements are becoming part of CTV platform architecture.
The broader market is moving toward interconnected media stacks in which DSPs, audience platforms, measurement providers, creative tools and AI systems exchange data rather than operating as isolated destinations.
